The Event Series

The McNichols Project is a unique event series that will explore select eras from the past in 2017. Immerse yourself in art, food, drink, live music, and more with us this Spring, Summer and Fall.

Our first event will kick off March 17th, 2017. We chose a jazz theme to celebrate the art, event space, and kickoff to an events season with edgy opulence.

We are also very excited to celebrate the opening night for the McNichols hosted artists—which will be a theme that continues with each event as well.

Stay tuned for more updates regarding our mid-summer event, involving Wild West shenanigans. In the meantime, feel free to scope out the McNichols Building website and consider it for your next event, party, meeting, or even wedding!

The McNichols Building

Grand weddings.
Corporate events.
Large festivals.
Meetings or workshops.
You name it.

Whether you’re planning a large festival or your dream wedding, the McNichols Civic Center Building is a must see. Newly reopened after a stunning renovation last year, the contemporary artwork and open spaces are a wonderful canvas for any event. Three large, open floors with exposed steel columns, three intimate spaces, a courtyard and a green outdoor area allow amazing opportunities for centralized events in the Mile High City. Artworks bring the walls to life, giving the classic space a modern feel.

The McNichols Civic Center Building is located in the heart of downtown Denver at the northwest corner of Civic Center Park. In 1909, the cornerstone of the building was laid, setting the foundation for the then Carnegie Library that would become a center of learning in the park. That tradition continues, as the building has become a contemporary hub for arts, culture and events for the people of Denver. This stunning Greek Revival building with its classic Corinthian columns and iconic colonnade across its front, offers new experiences in a classic space.

The Artists

At every McNichols Project event, we will be refreshing our art displays. We are not only committed to throwing a bash, but will also be celebrating opening night for specified artists. The current exhibit information is displayed below. Check back here to see what will be at each event.
